A. Yes it can be messy but we at Absolute Emergency Plasterers pride ourselves on ensuring not only top quality workmanship and friendly courteous staff, We minimise mess by covering all areas with sheeting and removing all waste materials from your premises.
Q. How long before I can paint my new plaster?
A. This can vary depending on time of year and ambient temperature, as a rule of thumb between 2 – 5 days before you put the sealing coat on, this can be done with a plaster sealant or watered down emulsion.
Q. What preparation will my work area need before the plasterers arrive?
A. During our totally free quotation (without obligation) we will discuss your individual needs. However all wallpaper would need striping.
Q. Can you plaster over Artex and textured coatings?
A. Yes, But generally additional preparation is required before plastering can commence.
